Servo Berkel Prior develops and manufactures Belt Weighing systems for monitoring, weighing and recording all types of product including:
- Boxes, crates, etc and all in different weights and sizes.
- Bags in a range of weights and sizes.
- Individual products such as cheeses, packaging, etc in various weights and sizes.
- Capacities depend on the product length, conveyor belt speed, etc. Boxes can be weighed and monitored in volumes of 2400 items per hour, bags up to 400 per hour and cheeses between 2500 and 3000 per hour.
- Our Monitoring/Checking Belt Weighing systems are developed and manufactured according to the latest OE and GMP requirements and correctly calibrated. Made-to-measure Monitoring/Checking Belt Weighing systems are not "specials" as far as we are concerned.
The systems can be fitted out with the following:
- Motion weighing of articles (continuous belt) based on a "start/stop" system (depending on desired capacity and accuracy).
- Systems supplied either painted steel finish or in stainless steel grades 304 or 316 (L).
- Weighing capacity 3 kg to 150 kg.
- Carry be designed with several belts for separation, weighing and transporting for example.
- Belt dimensions dependent on the length and width of the product.
- Belt speed dependent on desired capacity and transport speeds.
- Belt material is FDA approved.
- Systems with alarms for detecting items on the belt.
- Systems with a control cabinet with a weight indicator for recording the weights that have already been measured in an alibi memory that is transferred to a PLC or PC (serial, Ethernet or Profibus).
- Systems with lamps that indicate correct or incorrect weights.
- Systems designed with rolling lines can also be supplied.
- Can be linked to printers (weight lists/labels), barcode readers, etc.
